Residents of Dulhin Bazar in Patna district staged a strong protest over the incomplete road construction in the area. The villagers have demanded strict action against the concerned officials and contractors, along with a high-level inquiry into the matter. Local residents allege that the road construction work has been pending for several months, causing them significant inconvenience.

The protesting villagers stated that the funds allocated for the road construction have been misused, and the work is deliberately being delayed. Due to the unpaved road and numerous potholes, accidents are frequent. The situation worsens, especially during the rainy season, when the road becomes muddy and waterlogged, making it difficult for pedestrians and vehicles to pass. Students and the elderly face particular difficulties in reaching schools and hospitals.

Villagers have warned that if the road construction work is not completed soon and action is not taken against the culprits, they will launch a larger movement. They have appealed to the local administration and public representatives to intervene immediately in this matter and resolve the problems faced by the villagers. During the protest, many villagers held placards with slogans like 'Stop incomplete road construction' and 'Take action against the culprits'. The villagers assert that this is not just a road issue but a prime example of corruption prevalent in development projects. They have urged the government to thoroughly investigate such cases and punish the guilty to prevent such negligence in the future.
