परिवार के सदस्यों ने यह भी बताया कि दबंगों के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने पर उन्हें जान से मारने की धमकियां भी मिल रही हैं। इस भय के माहौल में उन्हें अपने घर में भी सुरक्षित महसूस नहीं हो रहा है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि उनकी जमीन को जल्द से जल्द अवैध कब्जे से मुक्त कराया जाए और दबंगों के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाए। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि जब तक उनकी मांगों पर गौर नहीं किया जाएगा और न्याय नहीं मिलेगा, तब तक वे अपना अनशन जारी रखेंगे। इस घटना ने एक बार फिर बिहार में भूमि विवादों के समाधान की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डाला है।
