Four individuals have been arrested in a state of intoxication at the Bhittha Mor check post in Pupri, Sitamarhi district, by the Prohibition Police Station. The arrested have been identified as Surve Alam and Naseem Sheikh, residents of Bhagwatipur under Sursand police station; Dilip Sada, a resident of Basuki Bihari; and Anwarul Ansari, a resident of Nepal. A police team led by Jamadar Indrajeet Kumar was on patrol when they apprehended the four individuals.

All accused underwent medical examinations on Sunday at 2 PM, which confirmed their consumption of intoxicants. Following this confirmation, an FIR was registered at the Prohibition Police Station, Pupri, based on the statement of Jamadar Indrajeet Kumar. Station House Officer cum Inspector Devbrat Kumar confirmed the arrests, stating that after medical confirmation of intoxication, all individuals were sent to judicial custody. This action was taken under the prohibition law enforced in Bihar.
