In a recent camp organized in Gaura Panchayat, Purnia East block, 186 out of a total of 258 applications were successfully resolved. The camp aimed to provide swift solutions to complaints and requests related to various government schemes and services.

In the presence of the Block Development Officer (BDO) and other concerned officials, applicants' issues were heard and addressed on the spot. This initiative has brought significant relief to local residents who often had to make multiple visits to the block office for their problems to be resolved.

The applications disposed of primarily included those related to MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, old age pension, ration card issues, and land disputes. Officials stated that action would be taken on the remaining applications as soon as possible, ensuring that no eligible applicant is deprived of the benefits of government schemes.

Such camps are part of the government's 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' (Government at Your Doorstep) initiative, aiming to bring administration closer to the public and provide prompt and transparent services. Given the success in Gaura Panchayat, similar camps are expected to be organized in other panchayats to benefit more people. Local representatives and villagers have praised this initiative, calling it an important step in the public interest.
