A tragic accident has occurred in Gaya district, where a minor boy died after a sand-laden tractor overturned near Neemchak village. The deceased has been identified as 14-year-old Ranjan Kumar, a resident of Neemchak village. Another person was seriously injured in the accident and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

According to information, the tractor driver had lured Ranjan Kumar from his home with the promise of work and money. Ranjan, a minor, fell for the driver's words and went with him. It is reported that the tractor was overloaded with sand and was speeding. Near Neemchak village, the tractor lost control and overturned.

Ranjan Kumar was crushed under the overturned tractor and died on the spot. The other injured person, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, sustained serious injuries. Upon receiving information about the incident, local villagers and the police reached the scene. The police took custody of the body for post-mortem and immediately transported the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police stated that the driver fled the scene after the accident, abandoning the tractor. The police have seized the tractor and are searching for the absconding driver. Ranjan's family is in deep distress and has demanded strict action against the driver. Villagers mentioned that such accidents are frequent due to illegal sand mining and overloading. The police are investigating the matter and have assured that the driver will be arrested soon.
