Purnia: Dr. Pramod Bhartiya, Principal of GLM College, has successfully completed one year in his tenure. To mark this occasion, a felicitation ceremony was organized by the college's Student Welfare Council on Saturday. The event was held in a simple atmosphere, where Dr. Bhartiya's leadership was lauded for the significant achievements made by the college in education, discipline, and development over the past year.

Ayush Gautam, Secretary of the Student Welfare Council, initiated the program by highlighting the important successes achieved by the college under Dr. Pramod Bhartiya's guidance. In his address, Principal Dr. Pramod Bhartiya emphasized that the progress of any institution is a result of collective efforts. He extended his gratitude to all teachers, staff, and students of the college for their cooperation. He assured that pending tasks would also be completed with everyone's support in the future, and challenges would be faced with a positive outlook and strong determination. He urged students and staff to continuously strive for the college's development.

Speakers at the ceremony discussed the work undertaken by the Principal in academic, administrative, cultural, and social spheres during his tenure. Dr. Ramiz Ahmed, Controller of Examinations and Head of the Economics Department, stated that under Dr. Bhartiya's leadership, the college has embarked on a new direction of development. Kaushal Kishore, Head of the Physics Department, praised Dr. Bhartiya for prioritizing the college's interests even in difficult circumstances. Dr. Ranvijay Kumar, Head of the Psychology Department and Bursar, highlighted the initiative to make the campus drug-free as crucial for the students' better future.
