In a brazen act of theft, four houses in Naudiha village, under Gurua police station in Gaya district, were targeted by thieves who made off with jewelry and cash worth lakhs of rupees. The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday night. According to information received, the culprits broke into four homes simultaneously, stealing valuable ornaments and cash before fleeing the scene. Victims reported that some of the stolen items were later found scattered in nearby fields.

The affected homeowners have been identified as Santosh Paswan, Muneshwar Paswan, Rajkumar Paswan, and Rajendra Paswan, all residents of Naudiha. From Santosh Paswan's residence, thieves stole approximately 2 lakh rupees in jewelry and 10,000 rupees in cash. Muneshwar Paswan lost jewelry worth 50,000 rupees and 5,000 rupees in cash. Rajkumar Paswan reported the theft of jewelry valued at 1.5 lakh rupees and 8,000 rupees in cash, while Rajendra Paswan's house was relieved of 70,000 rupees in jewelry and 7,000 rupees in cash. The total estimated loss from the four houses amounts to nearly 4.7 lakh rupees in jewelry and 30,000 rupees in cash.

The robberies came to light on Wednesday morning when the residents woke up to find their homes ransacked. Police were immediately informed, and officers from Gurua police station arrived at the scene to begin their investigation. They inspected the crime scene and questioned the victims. Villagers expressed significant anger over the incident and demanded swift action from the police to apprehend the thieves and recover the stolen goods. Police have assured that the matter is being investigated thoroughly, and the culprits will be arrested soon.
