The birth anniversary of freedom fighter, Constituent Assembly member, and Padma Shri Dr. Ratnappa Bharamappa Kumhar was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at Vivek Skill Mission Bihar in Dhansoi, Rajpur block. The event was organized under the aegis of the Prajapati (Kumhar) Coordination Committee, Buxar district branch. Senior social worker Rameshwar Prajapati presided over the program, while district secretary Upendra Prasad Prajapati skillfully conducted the stage.

The ceremony began with garlanding, offering floral tributes, and lighting a lamp before the portrait of the great freedom fighter Dr. Ratnappa Kumhar. Dr. Shwet Prakash, the main speaker, elaborated on Dr. Kumhar's ideals, life struggles, and his significant contributions to nation-building. He highlighted that despite being born into a humble family, Dr. Kumhar achieved a unique identity through education. Representing the Kolhapur princely state, he played a crucial role in the country's integration and the drafting of the Indian Constitution. His entire life stands as an excellent example of social reform and national service.

Rameshwar Prajapati, who presided over the ceremony, stated that Dr. Ratnappa Kumhar was not only the pride of the Prajapati community but of the entire nation. He urged community members to follow Dr. Kumhar's path and prioritize education. On this occasion, a resolution was passed to construct a hostel to encourage children from the community to pursue higher education, ensuring they have access to better academic opportunities.
