The main road in Dandila Panchayat, located just six kilometers from Husainabad block headquarters, has deteriorated severely, making commuting extremely difficult for residents. Deep potholes, mud, and waterlogging have turned the road into a swamp. It's challenging even to walk, and two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and ambulances frequently get stuck in the mud. Villagers state that this situation recurs every monsoon for several years. The crucial road leading to Dandila now only has potholes where asphalt once was, resembling ponds during rain with up to a foot of mud accumulated.

A similar plight affects the main road near Purnadih Tola in Devri Khurd Panchayat, adjacent to Husainabad, where large potholes have replaced the road surface. Thousands of villagers use these two roads daily to access the block headquarters, market, schools, and hospitals. Due to the road's poor condition, schoolchildren risk slipping in the mud, causing them to be late for school or sometimes miss it altogether. Transporting sick and pregnant women to hospitals has become a major challenge, as ambulance drivers often refuse to enter the villages. Delays in receiving timely medical attention exacerbate patients' difficulties.

Residents attribute the road's dilapidation to substandard construction materials, lack of timely repairs, and uncontrolled movement of overloaded heavy vehicles. Trucks carrying sand, gravel, and stone often exceed their weight limits, leading to rapid road damage. Villagers have urged the district administration to intervene immediately to fill potholes, clear mud, ensure smooth traffic, and enforce strict measures against heavy and overloaded vehicles. They emphasize that without such actions, even newly constructed roads will face the same fate within months.
