IAS Vandana Preyashi, the Central In-charge Officer of NITI Aayog, conducted a comprehensive review of various ongoing development schemes in Khagaria district. During a meeting held on Wednesday at the Collectorate auditorium, she provided several crucial instructions to the officials. Her review focused on evaluating the district's performance based on the indicators set by NITI Aayog.

Preyashi primarily concentrated on the progress of projects in key sectors such as education, health, nutrition, agriculture, water resources, and road connectivity. She urged officials to overcome obstacles in scheme implementation and take concrete steps to achieve targets within the stipulated timelines. Special emphasis was placed on the effective execution of public welfare schemes to ensure their benefits reach the common populace directly.

District Magistrate and other senior officials present at the meeting apprised her of the current status of ongoing schemes and achievements to date. IAS Preyashi directed strict monitoring to maintain the quality and transparency of the schemes, stating that no negligence in development work would be tolerated. She also encouraged officials to conduct field visits to assess ground realities and establish direct communication with the public. This review meeting is considered a significant step towards accelerating the district's development agenda and achieving NITI Aayog's objectives.
