Following the suspension of Aniruddh Kumar, the Executive Officer of Jagdishpur Nagar Panchayat, the position had become vacant. The Urban Development and Housing Department of the Government of Bihar has now assigned Mohammad Jamal Akhtar Ansari, the Additional Municipal Commissioner of Ara Municipal Corporation, the additional charge of Jagdishpur Nagar Panchayat. The department has issued a notification in this regard.

According to the issued letter, Mohammad Jamal Akhtar Ansari has been entrusted with the responsibility of Jagdishpur Nagar Panchayat under Section 41 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007, in addition to his current duties. This appointment is expected to ensure the smooth functioning of the stalled administrative work of the Nagar Panchayat. Local residents and public representatives hope that the arrival of the new Executive Officer will accelerate development work and address public grievances effectively.
