Jamui Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Shaurya Suman has initiated a significant step by adopting the Sadar Police Station. This move aims to enhance the police station's functioning, expedite the disposal of pending cases, streamline Malkhana (storehouse for seized goods and evidence) management, and strengthen digital systems. As part of this initiative, the SP has announced monthly meetings at Sadar Police Station, where he will personally review its performance.

Dr. Shaurya Suman stated that the high number of pending cases at Sadar Police Station is a priority for immediate resolution. Furthermore, improvements are needed in Malkhana management to ensure transparency and efficiency. Strengthening the digital system is also a crucial aspect of this initiative, aiming to modernize and technologically empower policing.

The SP has also directed all Station House Officers (SHOs) to ensure the disposal of pending cases in their respective stations. He emphasized that police officers or SHOs who demonstrate better performance will be rewarded, while those showing negligence will face action. This measure is intended to promote accountability and efficiency within the police department.

This initiative is expected to bring about significant improvements in the Sadar Police Station's operations, leading to better and faster police services for the general public. This step by Jamui Police sets a positive example for police reform in the state.
