JEHANABAD: The Health Department in Jehanabad district has implemented a new system aimed at making healthcare services in government hospitals fully digital, transparent, and patient-centric. According to District Program Manager (DPM) Khalid Hussain, following government directives, online registration on the 'Bhavya Portal' will now be mandatory for all emergency patients visiting Sadar Hospital, Sub-Divisional Hospitals, Referral Hospitals, Community Health Centers (CHCs), and Primary Health Centers (PHCs).

Under this new system, an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID will be created for each patient, and their Electronic Health Record (EHR) will be prepared. The Health Department's instructions state that not only OPD services but also the entire treatment process for emergency, accident, and admitted patients will be digitally recorded. All information, from patient registration to medical consultation, tests, nursing vitals, pathology, radiology, medication distribution, and discharge, will be available on the Bhavya Portal.

DPM Khalid Hussain stated that this initiative will make the treatment process more organized, transparent, and efficient. He added that in the future, if a patient seeks treatment at any government hospital in the state, doctors will be able to access their previous treatment details, test reports, medications, and medical history online. This will significantly aid in accurate and prompt treatment. With the implementation of this new system, patients will no longer need to carry their medical files or old prescriptions, providing them with greater convenience.
