Jehanabad police have intensified their dialogue initiative to understand traders' problems and strengthen the city's security. As part of this, a 'Contact With Your SP' program was organized at the police headquarters on Sunday. During the meeting, the Superintendent of Police held detailed discussions with representatives of the traders' association.

The primary objective of the meeting was to build trust between the police and traders. Discussions covered various aspects of the business community's problems, security concerns, and ways to improve policing. The police administration listened carefully to the traders' issues and assured them that security matters would be prioritized. Special emphasis was placed on the security of market areas and business establishments, and the need for better coordination between the police and trade organizations was also discussed. The police urged traders to report any suspicious activities immediately.

Given the increasing challenges of cybercrime, digital security and cyber awareness were also key topics. The SP urged traders to be extremely vigilant in online transactions. They were advised not to click on unknown links, not to share OTPs and confidential banking information with anyone, and to be wary of suspicious phone calls and messages. It was also stressed that in case of cyber fraud, complaints should be registered immediately with the concerned bank and cyber helpline. The police described the 'Contact With Your SP' program as an effective medium for dialogue between the police and the public, acknowledging the trading community as a vital part of the city's economic activities.
