जहानाबाद के पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसपी) ने हाल ही में जिले के एक थाने का औचक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने थाने के विभिन्न पहलुओं का गहनता से जायजा लिया और आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। एसपी ने विशेष रूप से लंबित पड़े मामलों के शीघ्र निष्पादन पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि समय पर मामलों का निपटारा न केवल न्याय सुनिश्चित करता है, बल्कि पुलिस के प्रति जनता के विश्वास को भी बढ़ाता है।
निरीक्षण के क्रम में एसपी ने थाने के कार्यालय और मालखाना का भी विस्तृत अवलोकन किया। कार्यालय में उन्होंने रिकॉर्ड के रखरखाव और कर्मचारियों की कार्यशैली की जांच की। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि सभी रिकॉर्ड्स को अद्यतन और व्यवस्थित रखा जाए ताकि किसी भी जानकारी को खोजने में आसानी हो। मालखाना में रखे गए जब्त सामानों की स्थिति और उनके उचित रख-रखाव पर भी एसपी ने ध्यान केंद्रित किया। उन्होंने यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कहा कि मालखाना में रखी गई हर वस्तु का सटीक रिकॉर्ड हो और उसकी सुरक्षा पुख्ता हो।
एसपी ने पुलिस अधिकारियों और जवानों को निर्देश दिया कि वे जनता के साथ सौहार्दपूर्ण व्यवहार करें और उनकी समस्याओं को गंभीरता से सुनें। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस का मुख्य उद्देश्य कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के साथ-साथ जनता की सेवा करना भी है। उन्होंने क्षेत्र में गश्त बढ़ाने और अपराध नियंत्रण के लिए सक्रिय उपाय करने के भी निर्देश दिए। एसपी के इस औचक निरीक्षण से थाने के कर्मचारियों में चुस्ती और जवाबदेही बढ़ी है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट संदेश दिया कि कार्य में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी।
