In Jehanabad on Friday, activists from the All India Students Association (AISA) and All India Youth Association (AIYA) staged a protest in support of the Bihar Bandh. The demonstration was held against paper leak incidents and police action during student agitations, with protesters demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The rally, which began from the CPI (ML) office, proceeded through various city routes to Ambedkar Chowk, where anti-government slogans were raised, and strict action against those responsible for paper leaks was demanded.

AISA District President Dhananjay Kumar alleged that the police brutally lathi-charged student protests against paper leaks, leading to the arrest of several students and activists, and the filing of false cases against peaceful demonstrators. He held the central government responsible for the continuous disruptions in the education system and the frequent paper leak incidents. Activists warned that the agitation would continue until the Union Education Minister resigns.

On Saturday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) workers in Jehanabad also burned effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Led by RJD leader and ward councilor Sanjay Yadav, this protest addressed issues related to alleged irregularities in the NEET exam, paper leaks, and student movements. Yadav demanded fair and strict legal action against those responsible for irregularities in the NEET exam, emphasizing that the future of millions of students depends on the transparency of the examination system. He accused the government of violating democratic rights by filing cases against peaceful student protestors and demanded the immediate withdrawal of these cases. RJD leaders stressed that securing the future of youth is the government's responsibility and warned that the party would continue its democratic agitation if student demands are ignored. Police administration remained vigilant at Ambedkar Chowk during the effigy burning to maintain law and order.

The impact of the Bihar Bandh in Jehanabad was only partial. Most shops in the city remained open, and market activity was normal. However, vehicular movement was affected in some areas during the protest. Sub-Divisional Officer Rajiv Ranjan stated that strict security arrangements were in place across the city, and the police were prepared to take action against any disturbance.
