Jhajha police have taken swift action in various criminal cases, arresting eight accused individuals and sending them to judicial custody. The arrested individuals are linked to cases involving liquor smuggling, offenses under the POCSO Act, and old pending criminal matters. This police action highlights their proactive approach to crime control in the region.

According to police sources, a continuous campaign is underway in the Jhajha police station area to curb crime. As part of this drive, raids were conducted at various locations based on confidential information and technical evidence. During these operations, several individuals involved in illegal liquor trade were apprehended, and consignments of illicit liquor were seized from them.

Additionally, an accused in a serious case registered under the POCSO Act was also arrested. This case pertains to sexual offenses against children, and the police have acted promptly to ensure justice for the victim. The police have maintained confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of the case.

Furthermore, several accused who were absconding in old pending warrants and other criminal cases have also been apprehended. These individuals had been evading arrest for a long time, and arrest warrants had been issued against them by the court. This action by the police will not only help resolve pending cases but also instill fear of the law among criminals.

All arrested individuals were presented before the judicial magistrate after completing the necessary legal procedures, from where they were sent to judicial custody.
