अररिया जिले के जोकीहाट थाना क्षेत्र में हुए एक सड़क हादसे में गंभीर रूप से घायल महिला ने नेपाल में इलाज के दौरान दम तोड़ दिया। मृतका का नाम रेशमा खातून बताया जा रहा है। वह जोकीहाट थाना क्षेत्र के चीनामारी पंचायत के वार्ड संख्या 11 निवासी स्व. मो. खलील की पत्नी थी। यह हृदय विदारक घटना लगभग एक सप्ताह पूर्व हुई थी, जब रेशमा खातून सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल हो गई थीं।
हादसे के बाद उन्हें तत्काल इलाज के लिए नेपाल के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। परिजनों को उम्मीद थी कि वह जल्द स्वस्थ होकर घर लौट आएंगी, लेकिन नियति को कुछ और ही मंजूर था। इलाज के दौरान उनकी स्थिति बिगड़ती चली गई और अंततः उन्होंने बुधवार को अंतिम सांस ली। उनकी मौत की खबर सुनते ही परिजनों में कोहराम मच गया।
मृतका का शव नेपाल से अररिया सदर अस्पताल लाया गया, जहाँ पोस्टमार्टम की प्रक्रिया पूरी की गई। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। इस घटना से पूरे परिवार में शोक का माहौल है। रेशमा खातून के निधन से उनके बच्चों और पति पर दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा है। ग्रामीणों ने भी इस दुखद घटना पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त किया है।
जोकीहाट थाना पुलिस ने इस मामले में आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। हालांकि, हादसे की विस्तृत जानकारी और किन परिस्थितियों में यह दुर्घटना हुई, इस बारे में अभी तक पूरी जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है। पुलिस मामले की गहनता से छानबीन कर रही है ताकि घटना के कारणों का पता लगाया जा सके। यह घटना एक बार फिर सड़क सुरक्षा के महत्व और जागरूकता की आवश्यकता को उजागर करती है।
A woman critically injured in a road accident within the Jokihat police station area of Araria district has succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment in Nepal. The deceased has been identified as Reshma Khatoon, wife of late Mohammad Khalil, a resident of Ward No. 11 of Chinamari Panchayat in the Jokihat police station area. The tragic incident occurred approximately a week ago when Reshma Khatoon was involved in a road accident.
Following the accident, she was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Nepal for treatment. Her family had hoped for her swift recovery, but unfortunately, her condition deteriorated, and she passed away on Wednesday. The news of her death plunged the family into deep sorrow.
The body was brought from Nepal to Araria Sadar Hospital, where a post-mortem examination was conducted. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to her family. The entire family is in mourning, and villagers have also expressed their profound grief over the incident. Jokihat police have initiated further action in the case, investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
