The Kaimur district administration has provided significant assistance to the family of Dhanji Paswan, who was recently fatally stabbed in Bhahua's vegetable market. The deceased's mother, Meera Kunwar, has received an initial sum of ₹4,12,650. Police have arrested four individuals, including two minors, in connection with the murder.

According to the administration, the family is entitled to a total compensation of ₹8,25,150. The remaining amount will be released promptly once the charge sheet is filed. Additionally, the family had already received immediate assistance of ₹20,000 under the 'Chief Minister Family Benefit Scheme'.

For the long-term rehabilitation of the family, the district administration has devised a comprehensive plan. Under this scheme, Meera Kunwar, Dhanji Paswan's mother, will receive a monthly pension of ₹8,000. She has also been offered a job as a security guard at a local residential school and has been assured assistance in securing a government job.

Special arrangements have been made to ensure the continued education of Dhanji Paswan's sisters. They will be admitted to a welfare department hostel to ensure their studies proceed without interruption. Furthermore, ₹2,000 will be directly deposited into their bank accounts monthly to cover their educational expenses. This initiative by the administration is a crucial step towards economically and socially empowering the victim's family.
