Police in Kaimur district have seized one kilogram of ganja from a tea shop and arrested a father-son duo in connection with the case. The incident took place in Bahuara village, under the Mohania police station area. Mohania Station House Officer Alok Kumar received confidential information that Vijay Kumar Gupta, son of the late Radhe Shyam Gupta, and his son Vikas Kumar were selling ganja from their tea shop in Bahuara village.

Upon confirmation of the information, a police team immediately raided the shop. Seeing the police, the father and son panicked and attempted to flee, but they were surrounded and apprehended on the spot. During a search of the shop, one kilogram of ganja was recovered and seized by the police. Vijay Kumar Gupta and Vikas Kumar have been arrested. Interrogation is underway to determine the source of the ganja and identify other individuals involved in the illegal trade. A case has been registered against both under the NDPS Act, and the process to send them to jail has begun.
