In a shocking incident reported from Ward No. 9 of Kesaria Nagar Panchayat in East Champaran district, a youth named Gunjan Kumar Singh was subjected to an acid attack following a dispute over money transactions. The incident reportedly occurred late Saturday evening, leaving several parts of the youth's body severely burnt.

Eyewitnesses and family members rushed Gunjan to a private hospital in Kesaria. After receiving preliminary treatment, doctors referred him to Patna for advanced medical care due to his critical condition.

Sources indicate that the acid attack stemmed from a financial dispute between two parties. Gunjan Kumar Singh's family alleges that the other party threw acid on him. Additionally, three individuals from the opposing side are also reported to have been injured in the altercation and are currently receiving treatment in Muzaffarpur.

The exact circumstances leading to the dispute and the acid attack remain unclear. Police authorities have stated that no formal written complaint has been filed by either party so far.
