Khagaria district recently organized a successful job and internship camp at the District Employment Exchange, offering significant opportunities for local youth seeking employment. Over 250 candidates participated in the event, where two major companies, MRF and Adecco India, jointly shortlisted 232 applicants for various roles and internships.

The camp specifically targeted intermediate, ITI, and diploma holders, providing them a platform to present their qualifications to potential employers. MRF received 200 resumes and shortlisted 165 candidates, while Adecco India, aiming to fill 200 positions for assistants and mobile technicians, received 117 resumes and shortlisted 67. In total, 317 resumes were collected, leading to 232 shortlistings.

Organized under the directives of District Magistrate Vikram Virkar and supervised by the Department of Youth, Employment and Skill Development, the primary goal of the camp was to connect young people with job opportunities and internship programs under the 'Mukhyamantri Pratigya Yojana'. Attendees were also informed about various government schemes related to skill development and career building, including the Toolkit Yojana, Study Kit, and Career Information Center.

While the shortlisting marks a crucial step, the final selection for employment or internships is still pending. Candidates are now awaiting further information regarding the selection process, required documents, and potential joining dates from the companies. The event saw the participation of key officials, including Shivshankar Kumar, Principal of Government Industrial Training Institute, R.K. Ranjan, Director of Private Industrial Training Institute, and Natarajan, a representative from Bihar Skill Development Mission, Patna. This initiative underscores Khagaria's commitment to youth employment and skill enhancement.
