Khagaria Police have made a significant breakthrough in their fight against crime, arresting eight criminals and seizing illicit arms, smack, and stolen vehicles. This operation was conducted with the aim of curbing increasing criminal activities in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, a special team formed under the directive of the Superintendent of Police conducted raids at various locations. During these operations, eight suspects were apprehended, and several incriminating items were recovered. The seized items include a country-made pistol, two live cartridges, a significant quantity of smack, and two stolen motorcycles. Police stated that the arrested individuals were involved in various crimes such as robbery, theft, and drug trafficking within the district.

Interrogations of the arrested criminals have led to several crucial revelations, which could help the police in apprehending other criminal gangs. Cases have been registered against all these individuals under various sections of the Arms Act, NDPS Act, and theft. The Superintendent of Police affirmed that this campaign will continue to maintain peace and order and ensure a crime-free environment in the district. He also appealed to the public to report any suspicious activities to the police immediately so that action can be taken against criminals in a timely manner. This series of arrests is expected to lead to a reduction in criminal activities in the district.
