A 25-year-old youth was stabbed to death on Tuesday night in Khagaria district. The incident occurred in Badi Simraha Panchayat, under the Bahadurpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Saurav Kumar, son of Mukti Yadav, a resident of Ward No. 1, Badi Simraha Panchayat.

According to family members, Saurav was returning home from the chowk when he was surrounded by several individuals near Chaupal. Saurav's elder brother, Praveen Kumar, has alleged that Ram Kalyan Sada instructed others to apprehend and assault Saurav. Subsequently, four to five young men surrounded him, and two women held him. During this, Dhanveer Kumar allegedly stabbed Saurav, who succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Bahadurpur police promptly arrived at the scene. They took the body into custody and sent it to Khagaria Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. The tragic death has plunged the victim's family into deep mourning and shock. Local villagers are also expressing significant anger over the incident. Police are investigating the matter and conducting raids to apprehend the accused.
