A horrific road accident occurred on Saturday morning in the Kochadhaman police station area of Kishanganj district. A speeding car collided with a truck on the National Highway, resulting in the death of two youths from Meerut and serious injuries to two others.

According to information, the accident took place near Titiha Pul in the Kochadhaman police station area on the National Highway. The Uttar Pradesh-registered car was traveling at such a high speed that the collision was extremely severe, leaving the car badly damaged. One person died on the spot, while the second succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The two other occupants of the car sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Following the incident, a large crowd of local residents gathered at the scene. Locals promptly informed the Kochadhaman police station. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot, seized the damaged vehicles, and initiated further legal proceedings. Kochadhaman Station House Officer Izhar Alam stated that the speeding car hit the truck from behind. The deceased and injured have been identified as residents of Meerut. Their families have been informed of the incident. Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and a detailed investigation into the matter is underway.
