Police in Kishanganj district have successfully apprehended an accused in connection with two separate theft cases. Stolen goods were also recovered from his possession. The Superintendent of Police stated that following two recent theft incidents in Kishanganj town, the police promptly formed a special team. This team identified and arrested the accused based on thorough investigation and technical evidence.

During interrogation, the arrested individual confessed to his involvement in both theft incidents. Acting on his disclosure, the police also recovered the stolen items, which include electronic gadgets, some cash, and other valuable articles. The value of the recovered goods is being assessed.

According to the police, the accused is a professional thief with a history of involvement in multiple theft cases. His criminal record is currently being investigated. An FIR has been registered against the accused under relevant sections, and further legal action is underway. He has been sent to judicial custody. This arrest is expected to curb theft incidents in Kishanganj town.
