On the fourth day of the Bihar Assembly's monsoon session, AIMIM MLA Sarwar Alam from the Kochadhaman constituency in Kishanganj district prominently raised critical issues concerning his region outside the Assembly premises. Other AIMIM MLAs were also present to support him. MLA Alam drew the government's attention to the persistent problem of river erosion and the dilapidated state of roads in Kochadhaman.

MLA Sarwar Alam highlighted that ongoing river erosion has become a severe issue in his constituency, significantly impacting people's homes, agricultural fields, and existing roads. He expressed concern that several villages face the threat of displacement, yet no concrete steps have been taken for a permanent solution. He urged the government to immediately initiate protection works in erosion-affected areas to ensure the safety of lives and property.

Furthermore, the MLA brought up the issue of poor road conditions in the area. According to him, broken roads cause daily hardships for the general public. He explained that the situation exacerbates during the rainy season, leading to disrupted traffic and an increased risk of accidents. Sarwar Alam appealed to the government for a permanent solution to river erosion and immediate repair of all dilapidated roads, emphasizing that these measures would provide significant relief to the local populace.

MLA Alam affirmed that his voice would continue to be raised until the problems of his constituents are addressed. He reiterated his commitment to an ongoing struggle for the public's welfare, safety, and development. Following these demands made outside the Assembly, people in the Kochadhaman region are hopeful that the government will soon address these serious issues and take decisive action.
