गया जिले के कोंच प्रखंड में रक्षाबंधन के दिन, शुक्रवार को एक भीषण सड़क हादसे में दो युवकों की मौत हो गई। यह दुर्घटना ददरेजी-रफीगंज मुख्य पथ पर पड़रामा मोड़ के पास हुई, जहां विपरीत दिशा से आ रही दो मोटरसाइकिलों की आमने-सामने टक्कर हो गई। इस हादसे में दो अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल भी हुए हैं।
मृतकों की पहचान ददरेजी गांव निवासी मनोज सिंह के पुत्र शांतनु कुमार और प्रधाना गांव निवासी बनारसी यादव के दामाद धर्मेंद्र यादव के रूप में हुई है। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि धर्मेंद्र यादव की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। शांतनु कुमार सहित तीन अन्य घायल लोगों को स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र कोंच पहुंचाया गया। अस्पताल में डॉक्टरों ने शांतनु कुमार को मृत घोषित कर दिया।
इस दुर्घटना में नेहोरा गांव निवासी मो. मुस्ताक अहमद के पुत्र उमर गनी और एक अन्य व्यक्ति भी गंभीर रूप से घायल हुए हैं। दोनों घायलों की नाजुक स्थिति को देखते हुए, चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें बेहतर इलाज के लिए गया रेफर कर दिया है। घटना के बाद से इलाके में शोक का माहौल है।
A tragic road accident in Konch block of Gaya district on Friday, the day of Raksha Bandhan, resulted in the death of two youths and serious injuries to two others. The incident occurred near Padrama Morh on the Dadreji-Rafiganj main road when two motorcycles, coming from opposite directions, collided head-on.
The deceased have been identified as Shantanu Kumar, son of Manoj Singh from Dadreji village, and Dharmendra Yadav, son-in-law of Banarsi Yadav from Pradhana village. According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so severe that Dharmendra Yadav died on the spot. Shantanu Kumar and two other injured individuals were rushed to the Community Health Center in Konch with the help of local residents. Doctors at the hospital declared Shantanu Kumar dead after examination.
Umar Ghani, son of Mohd. Mustaq Ahmed from Nehora village, and another person also sustained serious injuries in the accident. Due to their critical condition, doctors referred both injured individuals to Gaya for advanced treatment. The incident has cast a pall of grief over the area.
