A laborer's dead body was discovered at Kanti Railway Station in Muzaffarpur district, causing a stir. Police identified the deceased based on a keypad mobile phone found with the body and informed the family. The victim was identified as 45-year-old Nageshwar Mahto, son of Rambharose Mahto, a resident of Shahpur under Muffasil police station. Nageshwar Mahto worked as a laborer.

Upon receiving the information, Kanti police station personnel arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and sent it to SKMCH for post-mortem examination. Police found a keypad mobile phone with Nageshwar. Using the numbers stored in the phone, police contacted his family. The family stated that Nageshwar Mahto had left home for work, and they had not been in contact since. They were deeply shocked by the news of his death.
