A significant theft amounting to lakhs of rupees has been reported from an under-construction house in the Jamalpur police station area of Munger district. The incident occurred when the homeowner's family was away from the house for some time. The homeowner has filed a complaint at the Jamalpur police station regarding the matter.

According to the information, the house, belonging to a resident of Jamalpur, is still under construction. The family members had gone out of town for a few days for some personal work. During their absence, thieves targeted the vacant property. It is reported that the culprits broke the lock, entered the house, and made off with valuable items and cash. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to be in lakhs of rupees.

Upon their return, the family discovered the broken lock and scattered belongings inside the house, prompting them to immediately inform the police. Jamalpur police arrived at the scene, began their investigation, inspected the site, and questioned local residents. However, no leads on the thieves have been found yet.

The homeowner stated in the complaint that the theft resulted in losses worth lakhs. The police have registered a case against unknown perpetrators and the investigation is ongoing. This incident raises concerns about security in the area, particularly for under-construction homes or those left vacant.
