A minor dispute over a child's lost locket in the urban area of Barh sub-division escalated into a violent clash, leaving more than six people seriously injured. The incident occurred in Ward No. 24 of Barh. According to reports, a child's locket went missing during playtime, leading to an argument between the children. This soon involved their family members.

The dispute quickly turned violent, with both sides attacking each other with sticks and sharp weapons. From one side, Ramnandan Prasad, his wife, and son were severely injured, along with three people from the other side. Women were also among the injured. Local residents intervened to calm the situation and immediately rushed the injured to the Barh Sub-Divisional Hospital.

After initial treatment at the hospital, some of the seriously injured were referred to Patna for better medical care. Upon receiving information about the incident, local police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Police have detained several individuals from both sides for questioning. A tense atmosphere prevails in the area, and police forces have been deployed. Authorities have stated that strict action will be taken against the culprits, highlighting how minor disputes can sometimes escalate into major violent conflicts.
