Residents of Madhepura district will experience daily seven-hour power cuts from July 2 to July 6. This outage is due to essential repair and maintenance work on the 33 KV power line. During this period, all areas within Madhepura, Gamharia, and Shankarpur blocks will have their electricity supply interrupted from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Electricity department officials stated that this repair work is crucial to ensure an uninterrupted and improved power supply for consumers. The 33 KV line has been experiencing technical issues recently, leading to frequent power disruptions. This comprehensive repair campaign aims to rectify these faults and prevent major breakdowns in the future.
