आरा | नवादा थाना पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए कतीरा ओवर ब्रिज के नीचे से एक व्यक्ति को 25 लीटर अंग्रेजी शराब के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी की पहचान आयर थाना क्षेत्र के आयर गांव निवासी लक्ष्मण चौधरी के पुत्र निर्मल कुमार के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि एक व्यक्ति कतीरा ओवर ब्रिज के नीचे एक बैग में शराब लेकर तस्करी के इरादे से कहीं ले जाने की फिराक में है। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए मौके से निर्मल कुमार को रंगे हाथों पकड़ लिया। गिरफ्तार आरोपी के खिलाफ आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई पूरी करने के बाद उसे जेल भेज दिया गया है। पुलिस शराब तस्करी के अन्य पहलुओं की भी जांच कर रही है।
Arrah | Acting on a tip-off, Nawada police station personnel arrested a man with 25 liters of English liquor from under the Katira Over Bridge. The accused has been identified as Nirmal Kumar, son of Laxman Chaudhary, a resident of Aayar village under Aayar police station jurisdiction. Police received information that an individual was attempting to transport liquor in a bag under the Katira Over Bridge for smuggling purposes. Responding swiftly, the police apprehended Nirmal Kumar at the spot. After completing the necessary legal formalities, the arrested accused has been sent to jail. The police are also investigating other aspects related to liquor smuggling in the area.
