A tragic road accident in Jamui district resulted in the death of a young man returning from a wedding ceremony. The incident occurred late at night when the man's motorcycle lost control after being allegedly swerved by an unknown vehicle, subsequently colliding with a tree. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Santosh Kumar, a resident of Simulatal Bazar under Jhajha police station.

According to reports, Santosh Kumar was returning from a wedding with his wife and two-year-old daughter. As they approached Simulatal Bazar, an unknown vehicle allegedly swerved towards their bike, causing Santosh to lose control. His motorcycle then violently crashed into a tree on the roadside. The impact was so severe that Santosh died on the spot.

Following the accident, Santosh's wife and daughter were rushed to a nearby hospital with the help of locals, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable, but they are in shock. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination to Jamui Sadar Hospital. Police have registered a case against the unknown vehicle driver and initiated an investigation.

The incident has cast a pall of gloom over Simulatal Bazar and its surrounding areas. Santosh was the sole earning member of his family, and his sudden demise has left his family devastated. Local residents have urged the administration to provide appropriate compensation to the bereaved family and strictly enforce road safety regulations to prevent such incidents in the future.
