A tragic incident has unfolded in Begusarai district, where a man died by suicide following a dispute with his wife. The incident, which reportedly occurred on Sunday night, has left two young children abandoned as their mother fled the scene afterward.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Vikas Kumar, a resident of Kumbhi village in the Cheria Bariyarpur police station area. According to Vikas's sister-in-law, a heated argument took place between Vikas and his wife on Sunday night. The dispute escalated, leading Vikas to take his own life by hanging.

Family members discovered Vikas's body hanging in the morning, plunging the household into chaos. Amidst the distress, Vikas's wife reportedly seized the opportunity to flee, leaving behind their two young children—a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. The sudden departure of their mother has left the future of these innocent children uncertain.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Cheria Bariyarpur police arrived at the scene. They recovered the body and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
