A tragic incident has occurred in Kushinagar district, where a man drowned in a pond in Semra Hardo village, under the Kuber Asthan area. The entire village is in mourning following the incident. According to initial reports, the identity of the deceased has not yet been fully confirmed, but local police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Eyewitnesses stated that the man had gone to bathe in a pond near the village on Tuesday morning. While bathing, he ventured into deep water and began to drown. People nearby attempted to rescue him, but it was too late. Upon receiving the information, local villagers and the police rushed to the scene. With the help of villagers, the police recovered the body from the pond.

The incident has cast a pall of gloom over Semra Hardo village. The family members of the deceased are inconsolable.
