सुपौल जिले के त्रिवेणीगंज थाना क्षेत्र के कुशहा पंचायत के वार्ड-7 में रविवार को एक व्यक्ति का शव सड़क किनारे मिला। मृतक की पहचान 54 वर्षीय राजेश सरदार के रूप में हुई है, जो बच्चेलाल सरदार के पुत्र थे। शव उनके घर से लगभग 500 मीटर दूर पाया गया और उस पर गहरे जख्म के निशान थे। घटना स्थल से राजेश की बाइक भी गायब मिली, जिसके बाद परिजनों ने हत्या की आशंका जताई है। हालांकि, पुलिस ने अभी तक हत्या की पुष्टि नहीं की है।
राजेश की पत्नी अनीता देवी ने बताया कि शनिवार रात खाना खाने के बाद राजेश विश्वकर्मा पूजा के अवसर पर आयोजित आर्केस्ट्रा कार्यक्रम देखने गए थे। यह कार्यक्रम उनके घर से करीब 500 मीटर दूर था। राजेश रात में दो बार घर लौटे और अनीता को भी साथ चलने के लिए कहा, लेकिन उन्होंने मना कर दिया, जिसके बाद राजेश अकेले ही कार्यक्रम देखने चले गए। रविवार अहले सुबह पड़ोसियों के शोर से अनीता की नींद खुली। बाहर निकलने पर उन्हें राजेश अचेत अवस्था में सड़क पर पड़े मिले। शरीर पर जख्म के निशान देखकर परिजनों ने पास जाकर देखा तो उनकी मौत हो चुकी थी। मौके पर उनकी बाइक नहीं थी।
सूचना मिलने पर एसडीपीओ दिलीप कुमार और थानाध्यक्ष राकेश कुमार पुलिस बल के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए एफएसएल की टीम को भी बुलाया गया, जिसने घटनास्थल से आवश्यक साक्ष्य जुटाए। पुलिस मृतक की गायब बाइक की भी जांच कर रही है और यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि घटना से पहले राजेश के साथ कौन लोग थे। रविवार दोपहर एसपी शरथ आरएस भी घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे और अधिकारियों को मामले के उद्भेदन के लिए आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
एसडीपीओ दिलीप कुमार ने बताया कि ग्रामीणों से सड़क पर शव पड़े होने की सूचना मिली थी। परिजनों ने हत्या की आशंका जताई है, लेकिन घटना के कारण अभी स्पष्ट नहीं हैं। एफएसएल टीम से साक्ष्य एकत्र कराए गए हैं और पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट का इंतजार है। पुलिस सभी बिंदुओं पर जांच कर रही है। परिजनों के अनुसार, राजेश की किसी से कोई दुश्मनी नहीं थी और घर में भी कोई विवाद नहीं था। उनका मानना है कि आर्केस्ट्रा देखने के दौरान ही किसी ने उनकी हत्या की और बाइक लेकर फरार हो गया। राजेश निःसंतान थे और उनकी पत्नी अनीता देवी का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, कुशहा पंचायत के वार्ड-7 निवासी अमित कुमार ने अपनी किराना दुकान के पास खाली जगह पर कथित तौर पर बिना अनुमति आर्केस्ट्रा कार्यक्रम कराया था। पुलिस इस पहलू की भी जांच कर रही है।

According to his wife, Anita Devi, Rajesh had gone to an orchestra program organized for Vishwakarma Puja on Saturday night. He had returned home twice, asking her to join him, but she declined, and he went alone. On Sunday morning, Anita was alerted by neighbors' shouts and found Rajesh unconscious on the road. Upon closer inspection, with injury marks visible, he was found to be deceased. His bike was nowhere to be found.
Upon receiving the information, SDPO Dilip Kumar and SHO Rakesh Kumar arrived at the scene with police forces. The body was taken for post-mortem, and an FSL team was called to collect evidence due to the seriousness of the incident. Police are investigating the missing motorcycle and trying to ascertain who Rajesh was with before the incident. SP Sharath R.S. also visited the site on Sunday afternoon, instructing officials on the investigation.
SDPO Dilip Kumar stated that villagers had informed them about the body. While the family suspects murder, the exact cause of death remains unclear. Evidence has been collected by the FSL team, and the police are awaiting the post-mortem report. All angles are being investigated. The family claims Rajesh had no known enemies or domestic disputes, suggesting he was murdered during the orchestra program, and his bike was stolen. Rajesh was childless, and his wife is in deep distress. Locals also reported that Amit Kumar, a resident of Ward-7, Kushaha Panchayat, had allegedly organized the orchestra program without permission near his grocery shop, a detail the police are also investigating.
