A tragic road accident occurred in the Maranchi police station area of Mokama, leaving three members of the same family seriously injured. According to reports, an uncontrolled vehicle collided with a bicycle on Sunday evening, completely destroying the bicycle and throwing its occupants onto the road.

The injured have been identified as 50-year-old Vinod Singh, his 45-year-old wife Poonam Devi, and their 20-year-old son Ankush Kumar, all residents of Badhra village in Maranchi. Following the incident, a crowd of locals gathered, and the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for first aid. Due to their critical condition, they have been referred to Patna for advanced treatment.

Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle was traveling at such high speed that the driver lost control and struck the bicycle from behind. The impact was so severe that the bicycle was completely wrecked. The driver fled the scene after the accident. Police have registered a case and are searching for the absconding driver. This incident once again highlights the need for road safety and control over speeding vehicles.
