In Mehsoul, Sitamarhi district, the property of an absconding accused was attached following a court order. This action was carried out by the Bela Police. According to information, Mohd. Munna, son of Mohd. Habib, a resident of Mehsoul under the Bela police station area, was absconding in an old case. Despite multiple summons and warrants issued by the court, he failed to appear. Subsequently, the court issued an order for the attachment of his property.

Complying with the court's directive, the Bela police force arrived in Mehsoul on Monday. The police team initiated the attachment proceedings at Mohd. Munna's residence. During the operation, several household items were seized. A crowd of local residents also gathered during the action. The police executed the entire process peacefully.

Police sources stated that considering the seriousness of the case registered against Mohd. Munna, the court took this strict measure. Similar actions are continuously being taken against absconding accused to ensure they do not evade the clutches of the law. Bela Police emphasized that anyone who disregards court orders and remains absconding will face similar legal consequences. The police have appealed to the public to abide by the law and not engage in any criminal activities.
