कैमूर जिले के मोहनिया अनुमंडलीय अस्पताल में महिला डॉक्टरों की लगातार अनुपस्थिति और मनमानी पर अस्पताल के उपाधीक्षक ने सख्त रुख अपनाया है। उन्होंने कैमूर के असैनिक शल्य चिकित्सक-सह-मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी (सीएस) को एक पत्र लिखकर अनुपस्थित डॉक्टरों पर कार्रवाई करने और अस्पताल में चिकित्सकों की कमी को दूर करने की मांग की है।
उपाधीक्षक द्वारा भेजे गए पत्र में कहा गया है कि रोस्टर जारी होने के बावजूद कई महिला डॉक्टर बिना किसी पूर्व सूचना के ड्यूटी से अनुपस्थित हैं। कुछ डॉक्टर तो आधे-अधूरे छुट्टी के आवेदन के साथ लंबे समय से गैरहाजिर हैं। महिला डॉक्टरों की इस गैर-जिम्मेदाराना अनुपस्थिति से विशेष रूप से रात्रि ड्यूटी प्रभावित हो रही है, जिससे प्रसूता मरीजों की देखरेख और चिकित्सीय इलाज का पूरा जिम्मा जीएनएम (जनरल नर्सिंग एंड मिडवाइफरी) स्टाफ के भरोसे है।
अस्पताल में पहले से ही स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था चरमराई हुई है। हाल ही में पांच चिकित्सा पदाधिकारियों का स्थानांतरण हुआ है और दो डॉक्टरों को दूसरी जगह प्रतिनियुक्त किया गया है। उपाधीक्षक ने सीएस से अनुरोध किया है कि प्रतिनियुक्त डॉक्टरों को वापस मोहनिया अस्पताल भेजा जाए और अतिरिक्त चिकित्सकों की व्यवस्था कर स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को जल्द से जल्द सुचारू किया जाए।
The Deputy Superintendent of Mohania Sub-Divisional Hospital in Kaimur district has taken a strict stance against the continuous absence and arbitrary behavior of female doctors. He has written a letter to the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer (CS) of Kaimur, demanding action against the absentee doctors and addressing the shortage of medical staff at the hospital.
The letter sent by the Deputy Superintendent states that despite the roster being issued, several female doctors are absent from duty without any prior notice. Some doctors have been long absent with incomplete leave applications. This irresponsible absence of female doctors is particularly affecting night duties, leaving the care and treatment of maternity patients entirely dependent on GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) staff.
The hospital's healthcare system is already in disarray. Recently, five medical officers were transferred, and two doctors were deputed elsewhere. The Deputy Superintendent has requested the CS to send the deputed doctors back to Mohania Hospital and arrange for additional physicians to streamline healthcare services as soon as possible.
