A road accident occurred on NH-19 in Mohania, Kaimur district, on Tuesday evening. A truck laden with tiles collided with another truck moving ahead of it, severely damaging the front portion of the tile-laden truck. The driver, Jasram, a resident of Rajasthan, sustained minor injuries in the incident.

According to reports, Jasram was transporting tiles from Gujarat to Jharkhand. In front of Mohania Station Road on NH-19, the truck ahead suddenly applied brakes. This caused Jasram's truck to lose control and collide with the front truck. The impact was so severe that the front part of Jasram's truck was completely destroyed. While Jasram sustained minor injuries, the other truck involved in the collision fled the scene.

Traffic on the road was disrupted for some time due to the accident. Upon receiving information, Mohania police and the NHAI team arrived at the spot. With the help of a crane, they moved the damaged truck to the roadside, after which traffic returned to normal. Mohania Police Station Head, Alok Kumar, stated that a truck had met with an accident and, with the assistance of NHAI, the vehicle was removed from the road and taken to a safe location. The police are taking further necessary action in the matter.
