In a shocking incident in Mahinathnagar, under the Beldaur police station area of Khagaria district, a mother and daughter were brutally attacked by miscreants while they were cutting grass. The mother, Lalita Devi, sustained severe head injuries, while her daughter, Ruchi Kumari, also suffered injuries. Both are currently undergoing treatment at the Beldaur Primary Health Centre.

The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when Lalita Devi, wife of Chandeshwari Yadav and a resident of Ward No. 5 of Mahinath Nagar Panchayat, and her daughter Ruchi Kumari were cutting grass in a field. Suddenly, some local strongmen attacked them. Lalita Devi suffered a serious head injury, with her head reportedly split open, while Ruchi Kumari's left hand was badly injured.

Upon hearing their screams, locals gathered at the scene, prompting the attackers to flee. Family members immediately rushed the injured mother and daughter to the Beldaur Primary Health Centre. Dr. Mukesh Kumar, the in-charge medical officer at the health center, stated that Lalita Devi has a severe head injury and her condition remains critical after receiving initial treatment. Ruchi Kumari's condition is reported to be stable. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
