Darbhanga MP Dr. Gopalji Thakur visited Kusheshwarsthan on the occasion of Sawan Purnima to offer prayers and perform Rudrabhishek at the Baba Kusheshwarnath Temple. Upon his arrival, BJP workers and local residents accorded him a grand welcome at Ber Chowk, Satighat Chowk, and Hirni Chowk. He was felicitated with traditional turbans (pag), shawls, garlands, and angavastram.

After performing the Rudrabhishek with due rituals, the MP prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the region, society, and the nation. Members of the temple trust committee also welcomed him within the premises. Following the prayers, local residents and party workers presented several key development issues before the MP.

BJP District President Vinay Paswan and Mandal President Ghanshyam Chaudhary specifically demanded the establishment of an engineering college in Kusheshwarsthan and the swift commencement of the long-pending Sakri-Hasanpur rail project. They emphasized that these projects would create new opportunities for education, employment, and connectivity in the area.

MP Dr. Gopalji Thakur assured them that he would raise these significant demands on appropriate platforms and prioritize efforts to advance development-related matters in the region. The event saw a blend of religious observance and prominent discussions on regional development, attended by a large number of BJP workers and local people.
