Villagers of Paru Dakshini Panchayat in Paru block, Muzaffarpur, staged a protest regarding the construction of a government building. The villagers allege that the son of the current Mukhiya (village head) has halted the construction work. They demand that the government building, proposed by the Bihar government, should be constructed in Gadha village itself.

According to the villagers, the construction work for the government building had commenced in Gadha village. However, they claim that the Mukhiya's son allegedly stopped the work. The villagers argue that for the convenience of the panchayat residents, the government building should be located in Gadha village to provide easy access to a larger number of people. Ward members Suresh Ram, Chandeshwar Ram, Govind Prasad Yadav, Dilip Rai, and Shashi Rai, along with hundreds of other villagers, participated in the protest.

In response, Shakila Khatoon, the Mukhiya of Paru Dakshini Panchayat, denied the villagers' allegations. She clarified that she had selected a site near the FCI godown, in front of the Paru block office, for the government building. Mukhiya Shakila Khatoon stated that the construction work was being carried out in Gadha village without her consent. She had submitted a written application to the Block Development Officer and the District Magistrate regarding this matter, following which the construction work was halted.
