मुंगेर जिले में नकली सिगरेट बनाने वाली एक अवैध फैक्ट्री का भंडाफोड़ किया गया है। पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए इस फैक्ट्री से भारी मात्रा में नकली सिगरेट, रैपर और अन्य सामग्री बरामद की है। इस कार्रवाई के दौरान लगभग 9.50 लाख रुपये नकद भी जब्त किए गए हैं। पुलिस ने मौके से एक व्यक्ति को हिरासत में लिया है और उससे गहन पूछताछ की जा रही है ताकि इस गिरोह के अन्य सदस्यों और इसके नेटवर्क का पता लगाया जा सके।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, पुलिस को काफी समय से इस क्षेत्र में नकली सिगरेट के उत्पादन और बिक्री की सूचना मिल रही थी। इसी आधार पर एक विशेष टीम का गठन किया गया और छापेमारी की योजना बनाई गई। छापेमारी के दौरान, पुलिस ने फैक्ट्री परिसर से 240 डिब्बे नकली सिगरेट और 7500 से अधिक रैपर बरामद किए। ये रैपर विभिन्न प्रसिद्ध सिगरेट ब्रांडों के नाम पर बनाए गए थे, जिससे उपभोक्ताओं को धोखा दिया जा सके।
इस तरह की अवैध फैक्ट्रियां न केवल सरकार को राजस्व का भारी नुकसान पहुंचाती हैं, बल्कि ये उपभोक्ताओं के स्वास्थ्य के साथ भी खिलवाड़ करती हैं। नकली सिगरेट में अक्सर निम्न गुणवत्ता वाले और हानिकारक पदार्थों का उपयोग किया जाता है, जो स्वास्थ्य के लिए गंभीर खतरा पैदा कर सकते हैं। पुलिस इस मामले को गंभीरता से ले रही है और इसका उद्देश्य इस पूरे नेटवर्क को जड़ से खत्म करना है। हिरासत में लिए गए व्यक्ति से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पुलिस ने बताया कि इस मामले में और भी गिरफ्तारियां होने की संभावना है।
