A 21-year-old worker, Hiralal, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a bread factory in the Minapur police station area of Muzaffarpur. Hiralal, originally from Bairiya village in Shivhar district's Piprahi police station area, had been working at the factory for the past three years.

The incident was reported to Hiralal's family by a factory employee, Mamta Devi. Upon arriving at the scene, the family alleged murder after seeing rope marks on Hiralal's neck and protested. Hiralal's father, Kishun Baitha, claimed that deep rope marks on his son's throat suggested he was strangled. He also mentioned that Hiralal had been troubled recently and had an argument with someone who threatened him with serious consequences.

Police have not yet confirmed murder and are investigating both homicide and suicide angles. Minapur police arrived at the scene, secured the area, and sent the body to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) for post-mortem. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was also called to collect evidence from the site.

Minapur Station House Officer Subhash Mukhiya stated that further action is being taken based on the family's statements. Mamta Devi, who informed the family, has been detained for questioning. Other factory workers and local shopkeepers are also being interviewed. Police are awaiting the post-mortem and FSL reports to determine the exact cause of death. Hiralal was the second of three brothers, and his death has plunged his family into deep mourning.
