A tragic incident in Muzaffarpur's Sarfuddinpur area resulted in the death of a 55-year-old building worker due to electrocution. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Arif, a resident of Sarfuddinpur. The incident occurred on Monday night while Arif was working at an under-construction house near his home. Reports indicate he came into contact with an open electrical wire during his work, suffering a severe electric shock.

Immediately after the incident, locals and family members rushed him to a local hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The news plunged his family into deep mourning, with relatives inconsolable.

Following Arif's death, his family protested vehemently at the hospital premises, demanding compensation.
