Two Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) passenger buses, which operated from Nagwan and Gurua bus stands in the Gurua block of Gaya district to Gaya city, have been suspended for several days. This sudden halt in service has caused significant inconvenience for residents of Nagwan, Nadaura, and Manda panchayats who commute to the district headquarters in Gaya.

The suspension of bus services has been particularly problematic during the Raksha Bandhan festival, a period when student and general passenger traffic typically increases. Local residents are expressing considerable anger over the lack of public transport during such a crucial time.

Jagेश्वर Yadav and Ashok Kumar Yadav, conductors with BSRTC, stated that both buses are currently out of service due to technical faults. The buses will remain suspended until these technical issues are resolved. This situation has negatively impacted the daily commutes and essential activities of the local population.
