In Rupanchak village, under the Islampur police station in Nalanda district, a woman has alleged assault, robbery, and molestation after intruders entered her home. Sarita Devi has filed a written complaint with the Islampur police station, naming Pramod Choudhary from Jaitipur village and about half a dozen others, along with several unidentified individuals, demanding an FIR.

According to the woman's allegations, the incident occurred on Saturday around 7 PM. Sarita Devi was sitting at her doorstep with her husband, Surendra Chauhan, when Pramod Choudhary and 20-25 unidentified persons arrived. The woman claims they were armed with pistols, rifles, and iron rods. The accused allegedly fired shots near the house and began assaulting the couple.

Sarita Devi stated that the assailants pulled a gold earring worth approximately ₹10,000 from her ear, tearing it. She further alleged that some individuals then grabbed her with ill intent and dragged her for some distance. When her son-in-law intervened to help, the accused reportedly severely injured him with rifle butts and iron rods.

The woman also claimed that during the assault, some individuals entered her house, broke open boxes and almirahs, and stole gold and silver jewelry valued at around ₹10 to 12 lakh. Her husband managed to escape the clutches of the accused, ran towards the village, and shouted for help, raising an alarm.

The intruders also allegedly damaged the solar plate installed at the house and two motorcycles parked outside. Seeing villagers approach, the accused reportedly fired shots and fled the scene. As they left, they threatened to kill the couple if a case was filed and also stole the battery from a nearby tractor. Police have initiated an investigation based on the complaint.
