A woman's death in Naubatpur, Patna district, led to a massive protest by her family members, who alleged medical negligence. The doctor, however, stated that the woman died due to severe hemorrhage and vehemently denied accusations of performing a D&C (dilation and curettage) procedure. The incident occurred after the woman was admitted to a private clinic due to deteriorating health.

According to reports, the Naubatpur resident was brought to a private hospital suffering from heavy bleeding. Her family claimed that the doctor illegally performed a D&C, which led to her condition worsening and ultimately her demise. Following her death, the enraged family members created a ruckus at the hospital, demanding strict action against the doctor for alleged negligence and improper treatment.

However, the doctor at the hospital dismissed all allegations as baseless. The doctor stated that the woman was already suffering from severe bleeding when she was admitted. He clarified that no D&C procedure was performed and that the death was solely due to excessive blood loss. The doctor maintained that all efforts were made to save her, but her condition was critical.

Local police were informed and arrived at the scene to calm the situation and initiate an investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. The post-mortem report is expected to shed more light on the circumstances. This incident has once again raised concerns about the quality and transparency of treatment in private clinics.
